Here, the focus is on reconnecting with nature. To ensure a peaceful and immersive experience, please note that we do not have TVs or Wi-Fi, and we do not offer game drives. Instead, we invite you to explore the wild at your own pace.

The property is teeming with life, from the graceful Nyala herds that graze near the pool to our smaller, more curious residents.

Note: Vervet Monkeys, Chipmunks, and Meerkats are very active around the camp. Please ensure your doors and windows are closed at all times in your tent, caravan, or chalet, as these cheeky visitors love to explore the inside of guest accommodations!

A Birder’s Paradise

Thabaledi is home to an incredible array of birdlife. Keep your binoculars ready for:

Bushveld Favorites: Red & Yellow Billed Hornbills, Woodland Kingfishers, and the African Paradise Flycatcher.

Birds of Prey: Black Shouldered Kite, Jackal Buzzard, Pale Chanting Goshawk, and Greater Kestrel.

Night Birds: Giant Eagle Owl, Pearl Spotted Owl, Barn Owl, and the African Scops Owl.

Twilight & Evenings

As the sun sets, the “Mountain of the Stars” truly comes alive. Sip a Strawberry Daiquiri at our bar while watching Nyala edge toward the lush grass of the pool area. As night falls, the bushveld symphony begins—listen for the distant call of a jackal or the rustle of nocturnal species like Porcupines, Genets, Brown Hyenas, or even a glimpse of our elusive resident leopard.
